In May, 2014, Margaret was in the produce section of a grocery store in Fall River, Massachusetts when she was caused to slip and fall on grape(s) that were on the floor. \u00a0Margaret was wearing flip flops and the grape was stuck to the bottom of her flip flop.\u00a0 At the time of this incident, the Plaintiff was healing from an unrelated surgical procedure two months prior.\u00a0 Her fall in the grocery store resulted in the opening of the prior surgical wound that required surgical interventions to repair.\u00a0The insurance company vigorously defended the case claiming no liability and that her injury pre-existed the fall.<\/p>\n
