Neurontin Defective Drug – Rhode Island and Massachusetts Lawyers
Neurontin® – Generic: Gabapentin
Neurontin was approved for sale in the mid-1990s as a treatment for epileptic seizures. It is believed that Parke-Davis, which was acquired by Pfizer in 2000, had a strategy to market Neurontin for untested uses, such as bipolar disorder and migraines.
The common side effects for Neurontin are generally mild, but some people taking it also experience decreased coordination, changes in vision, persistent sore throat, swelling of the ankles, mood changes, memory loss, or trouble speaking. If you experience any of the more serious side effects, talk with your doctor right away.
